We re suffering from the Tsunami effect and nulear power plant in Fukushima.
There is a macadam, rubble supplier in Fukushima that is located at north by north west of the nuclear
plant, approx. 21km away from it. They sent out their stock to various construction sites without
having enough knowledge about nuclear power.
A person who has bought a radioactivity measuring device have happened to measure the redsidual
radioactivity around his house and found that the radioactivity of certain spots were measured higher
than the other area. He made notice about it for the measurement was in excess of the annual
permissible amount.
The city office found that all of the spots were covered with new concrete work. Then they found this macadam, rubble supplyer of above. The problem is that this supplyer sell their products throughout Japan. The rubbles were mixed with concrete and have been used for construction job.
Those rubbles were stored under a roof but otherwise exposed to the air. The city officials have found
out that the rubbles buried deep under the pile stock had less radioactivity if compared to ones on
the surface. Which apprently means that the pile of rubbles has been conterminated by the air blowing from the direction of the nuclar plant.
.
This is terrifying. There could have been same at Chernobyl. Thing is that we cannot see the
radioactivity flying in the air. You inhale it, you got trouble that remains in your body after your death.
Right, death doesn’t separate you from its possible cause.
Now, I heard a news saying that EU agreed to ban the oil import from Iran. Japan is left alone now. Why don’t we invite Iranian people to our nuclear plant? And tell everyone of them how wonderful it is to have the system that enables the nation commit suicide.
There could be numerous reason why Iranians sticks to it. America is the one big reason. Do I think
Iran actually set barrier in Srait of Hormuz? They sure would. Otherwise their god won’t allow them to
survive. It’s not how effectively they set the barrier but the action to do so is the point. It is not the government officials but the public that are force to pay the price. So, we, Japanese Government can extend a help to save both Iranian government and that big fat selfish Americans’ face. Or we will be destructing our economy because of the higher energy cost.
Can Mr. Noda do that? No way, man, no way . . . . . . . I’d better die than seeing another contermination of the ocean so close to that of Italian cruiseship accident. OK, it is not yet. But, who knows. . . .

It’s been a while since I have posted last time. I was too busy checking your submissions. Well, it’s been too much submissions, matter of fact, 3-500 a day. Some people submit 20-30 articles. As I have warned on this blog, I do not accept more than 6 articles a day.
The date may not fit your date. I am living in GMT+9 hour area.
Yet, if you insist, you can send me $10 monthly so that I will work harder to let you post as many articles as you wish. Otherwise, stop submitting more than 6 a day. It is waste or your time and mine as well.
Now Kim Jong-il is dead! His third son Jong-un seems to have been appointed as the third dictator of
the family. He is young. Too young. We are hoping to see some kind of social turn over, right? He is born in January 1984 and is 27, twenty-seven? My, my.
What were you doing at your age of twenty-seven? I was leaving from New York and heading my hometown Yokohama after spending 5 years there. Am I ready to earn myself? No way. I had been employed by my father and sent to New York under his wing. I was not prepared to earn myself. Or, to be honest with you, I did not know what I was expected to do or how I should behave then.
When father of Mr. Jong-il was dead in 1994, he was 52. Right, Jong-il was born in 1942. I was born 1943. So I am his age. His birthday was February 16th and mine was 12th of February. So we are under same constellation. Well, yes, I feel like I have to follow him. So, Jong-il was old enough to talk to the circle of old people around his dad. Yet, he took 5-7 years till he came up front of the political scene.
The result?Yes, as you are well aware of, he had to go along with the military group. He had to spend so much money for them. He had to take fighting pose against USA, South Korea and Japan. Worst of all was that the political turn over of the so-called Socialist countries. Russia has gone. The east Germany had dead in 1989. And number of socialist countries were all gone with Russia. North Korea had lost the economic back-up from those countries. Then there must have been famine.
The era hs changed a lot if you compare with 1994. Internet is here to stay and they cannot ignore it. There are rich people emerged from no where. Besides, there is Mac, you know that?I am talking about the hamburger stand. Now the son is mere 27 years old.
Old military personnel who have been with Jong-il cannot know him well. There are over two generations gap in between. Is it possible to understand the basic mentality of your grand son? If you insist, I am quite doubtful. Besides, the successor has learned at school in Swiss. There’s no other Korean there, I assume.
So, here is the scenario of the death of the dictatorship. Jong-un, the successor who had learned in Swiss, has the intention to open up the country. No, he cannot be that fool as opening North Korea right away. He knows that he has to hide the intention a while. Let’s say until he will have some kind mutual understanding of basic concept of the political route to take with the military.
In that concept, he will assure the military group that he won’t cut the expenditure more than 5% annual. And he will promise that he won’t cut the current top personnel out of the offices. He needs a few years at the least just to make the promise realistic. It may take several years unless some of the top personnel will dies of the age.
The thing is if he can be patience for that long. if he ever start taking action other direction, he will be the dead man at the very moment. Then what? Yes, you guessed right. There emerges the final Military Government on the earth that has nuclear weapon in hand. It could be 2020 when North Korea come to occupy Japan.
I sincerely hope that Mr. Kim Jong-un can stand the pressure from military. For that matter, I won’t protest the death of public for famine. Do you? I’ll be dead till then though, my son and daughter are here. . . . . . my goodness.

I was watching the demo in NY city. It’s been understandable though was terrifying matter. It could suggest that the end of Capitalism in American sense. The Communism had been demolished, well, on the surface, if you feel that way. China is doing other type of communism if compared to the Russian’s one.
But I think China is transforming its politic style rather nicely. The matter is that they misunderstand the human nature. It has been too fast for most of the nation so that they have been terrified and rush to stock their own capital to protect themselves. That could be why there are so many bribe in China now.
America had done a few thing to ruin the Japanese economy so that they won’t be able to catch up America right after the WW2, no, it is not the Wii but world war 2. Starting 1945, GHQ designated the dissolution of the zaibatsu. Zaibatsu Dissolution in Japan
What America did was to dissolve all of the holding company and let them spew up their asset. At the same time, America, well, the GHQ rather, to be exact, had helped Japanese government of the time to proceed with the land reform. That is to resolve the huge land holders to spew up their asset to the poor peasants who actually had harvested from the land by renting it from the holders.
As the consequences, there were no large capital holders to tow the Japanese economy from ground up. The irony was that it had been them who had been forming the core of those zaibatsu or huge land holders to be able to first form the sizable asset several years later as the Japanese economy regained their power.
So, America, you know what to do. Do what you have done to Japan right now to realize the transformation of Capitalism to the, well, revised capitalism? You can do it, right?

Bushi-Do=武士道 = The samurai way to live is to die before actually die. Hey, It’s a funny way to put it, is it?
Japaneses love to make things the educational material. We have Ka-do(華道)that means “the way to correctly arrange your flowers for the occasion”, Ka-do(歌道) that means “the way to correctly write the poem in the format of 31 characters”, Karate-do(空手道) that means “the way to correctly interpret your power of fighting with Karate for the wealnessth of the people around you” and so force.
Like wise, Bushi-do is to learn the way of daily living of samurai. The textbook “Hagakure” originally was written in 1716 by a samurai living in Kyushu island, the western part of Japan. The era is pretty close to the publication of Yojokun in 1714. (See “http://antiagingcouples.com/blog/“) ::
“DO”(”O” pronounces as “taught, all, door” and etc.)
I was reading a book called “Bushi-do toha shinukoto to mitsuketari” means Bushi-do is to die in preparation of own death. It requires further explanation, of course. The book was written by Kei-ichiro Ryu, born in 1923 and died in 1989. Right it’s his death anniversary, November 4th. He wrote novels for the last 5 years and this book is his posthumous work. It hasn’t been completed. If he live a month more, it could have been the great final work.
But of course, this is hilarious as it is. The main character, Mokunosuke Saito, dies every morning before he wakes up. He imagines his death scene and experiences the imagination in full extent. He feels the sword cut through his neck and feels his blood burst out from carotid and as the burst subsides, he terminates his breathing.

Next day, he might die by the simple thrust of a spear into his breast. He start the imagination as he is wearing armor. He’s been fighting for 2 hours and was sitting on a stone to take a rest after the winning. He took off his armor. 10-15 minutes later, an enemy came out of nowhere and thrust him right on the chest where cannot be attacked if he were wearing armor. He accepted the death for he was not cautious enough to prepare the unexpected.
This novel is hilarious for the character himself and two of his friends. They are not afraid of the death at all. Then they are not afraid of their master. They know the sword fighting is not the technique but the guts and the speed. If he cut the head of the enemy faster than the enemy cut your right arm off of you, you win. It is as simple as that.
Like wise since they die every morning, they are not the living creature during the daytime. Then they can say anything that they believe or good for the others. Of course their eyes are dead but see everything. Imagine what the life would be! Cannot imagine that?If there’s someone who wishes to translate it into English, I’ll help.It sure would sell a lot. No, not to women but to the men, the real men.

That’s a news. He was 56 years old. I envy him a lot. ‘cuase he’s gone at his height. It is true that I should not compare myself to him. He is a kind of genius and me, the average, or a bit lower than that without any proud resume to tell.
Yet, if he live longer, let’s say for another 10 years, I don’t think that he will be able to announce such innovative products as iPhone or iPad. Why? Well, I call it the age. And tell you this as well. Age means not only the age since the birth of a humane being but also the era of the Global social stage. Yes, I agree that he could be excellent social leader. But who knows if he wishes to be the one. There is larger chance that he wishes to be the leader of the trade.
I am pretty sure that he hasn’t wanted to be dead. But for us, as the fans of him, we should celebrate that we would not be seeing him struggling to survive and losing Apple again in the end.
I checked through internet and found that it was 1984 when MaCintosh was announced. I bought one. They had trouble with Japanese language though, I was so impressed with the design and the software that came with it. I remember buying MacPoject. That was the first ever planning tool that had graphical interface, wasn’t it? Is there anyone who remember that the mouse has been integrated with the Apple machines first? Yeah, that was fun, men, fun, just fun.
But as the eighties went by, Microsoft were taking over the market. They first started out without mouse but had made it available around mid 80es? I cannot recall precisely. It is amazing Mr. Jobbs made comeback with iTunes. And the trouble he had with his prime business partner was not the story I wanted to hear. That story makes me believe that he has a certain limitation in his business concept.
Well anyway, in regard to his effect to American economy, it comes to the end. Now, America, unless that guy who is leading electric automobile Tesla become successful, you won’t be able to have another viable manufacturing economy. Consequently, you won’t be able to enjoy the luxury of sending your armies to the every corner of this globe. I will talk on national economy next, within 2 weeks. well, if i don’t forget.

I was reading a samurai novel written by Yo Tsumoto. Yes, we have plenty supply of samurai novels and there are number of excellent story tellers in this field. I dare not search for the sales data of them though, I assure you that samurai stories could be one of the most popular category of all. I’d dare say that it exceeds the Manga for sure. It usually is called as “Kengo” novels whereas “Kengo” means the master of sword fight.
Now the novel I was reading was one of “Kengo” novels and the story of the fictional biography of Hyogonosuke Yagyu. Yagyu is originated in the area where was hit by current typhoon 12 and located pretty close where Ninja was originated. Yagyu had been designated as the swordmanship of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Munenori Yagyu who teached the first Shogun was the uncle to Hyogonosuke and the story ttalked about the most interesting ara of Japanese history, around the beginning of 17th century.
In the story, the author Tsumoto had nicely tried to explain what the real swordmanship should be. The basic concept lies in Zen. I believe Zen is the ultimate way of self development. It may be considered as a part of Buddhism though, I believe there is profound enough conception of Zen that separate it from Buddhism in general. Ever heard of a phrase “There will be a place as you throw off of yourself”? In Japanese it is written as “Mi wo sutete koso ukabu semo a-re”(身を捨ててこそ浮かぶ瀬もあれ)。 It means; if you forget about yourself to serve others, you will be able to live long by having the suitable position in the society for yourself.
Now the swordmanship concept that was develped further by Hyogonosuke Yagyu and his descendents.
It is called as “Teaching of Heijou-sin” means the “teaching of the calm state of your mind ” means, that is “Teaching how your mind should be during the sword fighting and the conclusion is that it is the best to keep your mind calm to earn the best result”. It is easy, right? Well, is it? I bet nobody but nobody can keep their mind calm by seeing sword coming to kill you, don’t you think? Imagine, You know your oponent has sword or bowgun is set and the arrow has sharp spear that is aiming you. Or, this is the first fight with real sword. You have been learning sword fight with wood sword and have a few experiences hit by it. Right you were hurt but not killed. But this time you are to fight with real sword and the oponent is coming to you to kill. Then how can you keep your mind calm? That the teaching of Yagyu swordmanship. Here is what the hereditary of Yagyu says in their book:
“It is wrong to single-mindedly wish the victory. It is wrong to single-mindedly wish to utilize what one has learned. It is wrong to single-mindedly wish to fight with what has learned. It is wrong to single-mindedly wish to beat the oponent. It is wrong to single-mindedly wish to wait the oponent come. It is
wrong to single-mindedly wish to avoid the wrong. Whatever the reason may be it is wrong to single-mindedly wish what you wish for. All of those wrong is in your mind so it is the best to throw off all of your wish. Then there is the chance to keep you mind calm.
A little further explanation: Whenever you look into your mind you will find some kind of wish, hope, fear, anxiety and such sentiment. Yagyu says that the calm mind has nothing of these. Your mind should be empity. If you mind is preoccupied with sentiment, you will no be able to react to the oponent fast enough to win. We call the mind status as “Mu-nen-Muso” means “No thinking, No image” that equals to “Empity”. Got that?
This concept of your mind has something common to the way of thinking “Give before you earn”, is it?
This mentality can be applied whenever you fight. It may be those team plays of football, basketball and those indivisual play of boxing, fencing and etc.

I have lost my interest to continue on this subject of “civilization” for now. I originally started this subject to say that there has not been much foundamental change during passed 60 years. And I have wished to show the proof of it one by one. After writing the part 1, I have realized that it is not much of the concern if I count the proof. I have resisted the conclusion a while though, I could not think of any viable reason to it.
I would rather talk about our new prime minister this time. Mr. Noda is 54 years old. I was his age 13 years ago. That was 1998. That was my last year with Technol Seven, a merger of Nippo and Takara of 1989. I was the CEO earning 300K US dollar equivalent with current exchange rate.
I quit the company in 1999 and said farewell to the company that was established by my father. Yes, I was forced to leave there hopefully for the better. That was my first and last experience to be paid by the unemployment insurance. A couple of year later, I was with my friend in the scheme of buy out a public corporation and was assigned as executive vice president of the company. But that was another story.
The age of 54, in my case, was the end of the old and the start of the new life. I am expecting Mr. Noda could be better than the stickhead Kan, the previous prime minister. Mr. Noda said that he would examine the government itself to cut the expenses before raising tax. It is the norm, right? Whichever the organization may be, they will try to survive with what they earn. The government is the only exception of it. The government tries to expend whatever they want and wish to raise money by charging whatever they want to the nations. It is redicrous, is it not?
The expenditure of the government can be classified into three divisions of, social security, building of infrastructure and the military cost. The office cost for each division is behind them and that is the
cost of beauroucracy. Mr. Noda sounds that he knows the scheme better than Kan, the stickhead. Yes, I hate Kan, by the way.
One axiety is that fool, Ozawa. He has never done any benefitial matter to the nation. He has been the fixer and never tried not to be the one. He is the suspect of bribery at present. That is why he cannot nominate himself to be the prime minister. And the good thing is that he is my age. This could have been his last chance.
He is holding 102 members out of 408 Democrat members of the diet. Yes, he is holding the largest number. The mass medias have been saying that the scheme was of pro-Ozawa against anti-Ozawa. Mr. Noda represents anti-Ozawa. The good thing is that the whole nation is irritated by the storm in the cup. Which means Ozawa cannot insist himself any further if he wishes to. My idea is that people should know their age. If you were the founder of a certain organization, you should quit the dominant position as you hit 60. Yes, there are exception. If your organization is small enough having less than 30 personnels, you may stay. Or sell it to the bigger in the same trade.
Anyway, we, Japanese has got new leader who seems to be considerate and know the budgeting. I do hope Mr. Nod does better.

Wikipedia says: (The terms is) used to refer to human cultures that are complex in terms of technology, science, and division of labor. civilizations are generally urbanized. . . . . . [ In classical contexts civilized peoples were called this in contrast to “barbarian” peoples, while in modern contexts civilized peoples have been contrasted to “primitive” peoples. ]
So, civilization has technology, science and division of labor, in essence. Now we have atomic bomb/energy/power or whatever you call it. I have lived 68 years so far. What was, then, 68 years ago? To be honest, I cannot recall 68 years ago. I was no that talented to remember anything at the time of my birth. So let’s take 60 years ago. I was 8 years old. 1951, 6 years passed since the end of WW2.
There was no TV in Japan. Yes, there were TV in USA, right?I mean TV broad cast, that is. We listen to radio. We have lots of newspapers, magazines, a few of weekly magazines. Yes, we had electricity but the town gas service was yet to come. Japan had been defeated and were quite poor. Municipal services were poor as well. We burn what was left or reuse what were re-usable.
1953 census shows that people who are working in agriculture sector was 15Million out of total work force of 39.5 million. What consists a little less than 38%. Current share of agricultural population is 2.31 out from 62.52 million. That equals to 3.7%.
I have been living same area during this period. That make me eligible to tell what the civilization has done so far during past 60 years. I have to tell that the life become much easier for girls. We used to wash clothes in a tub with washboard, remember those wooden board with lots of edge engraved upon? We had to burn woods before start cooking. We were quite lucky for the water. Matter of fact there was a well in my old house. But that was my job to draw water from the well. Yeah I know, we could have motorized the drawing but were poor for that. Anyway, the basic necessity was there. What makes difference is that we can eliminate the advance preparation for the main course with electricity.
OK, then we can enjoy current convenience as far as there is electricity. What else that may characterize our civilization? If there is electricity we can communicate, work, live without any inconveniences except shopping. Yes, it may be problem to purchase what we eat. Since that is the daily matter, it may be a big problem.
This matter has been realized in lots of local cities throughout Japan. Youngers go out of town to work. There is not much work in the local. We have minimum wage set by the national government. It is higher than the Chinese, Vietmese or Indians. So most of the organization that has to have competitive edge has to go out of this country as USA had done during 70es.

I ran a public corporation till the 2001. It’s been 12 years since my retirement. I hadn’t pay much attention to the politics while I was running them. Because I was running office an machine manufacturer. And that was not the corporation get effected with the cahnge of the political scene.
But with current political indecision, I have been wondering if I would stay in this country and be running any size of corporation. The answer is quite negative. I would sell my share and get out of this coutnry. There are three biggest reason I can think of:
- The higher income tax is coming: Do I have to pay that to keep those shitheads running this country? No way! They should learn or hire several persons who are able to run organization.
- The higher consumtion tax is in sight: I do not wish to hire the administrators who do not know the way to live within the budget. Why does Mr. Kan try to be in the seat of prime minister? He is paid big if compared with the owner of the middle to small sized businesses. I would say that he is paid 3-4 times higher than those business owners. Do I want any manager who do not know the management? No way!
- The luck of the planning for the future: This is the biggest ever reason that make me belive that I should be living somewhereelse.
We have realized that the electricity has been the tool of the power struggles. And TEPCO, the electricity supplier for Tokyo area, has nominated Katsumata, the previous COB at the current annual
shareholders’ meeting and has been accepted. Now I am sure that he won’t change any. He is 69 years old. How could he change his policy? I know for the fact that as yo get older you will be more stubborn and short tempered and won’t try to learn other way of thinking, don’t you agree?
Then we have to rely on the energy supply that has found inappropriate for the nation by the current inccident. How long? Who knows, but it should be for another decade or so, at the least.
I am afraid if China or North Korea ever attack us. We do not have army, on the surface. Our article 9 of the constitution has banned to have any type of military force. I am afraid those shitheads will start arguing if the nation would follow this constitution or not before they start to fight. It sounds silly, right? But I believe if Kan is here to stay, he would do so instead of taking command post of the civilian armed force leader.
So, there is no reason to stay in this beautiful country Japan. Let’s move out. There may several hundreds of shithead be left just for the argument sake. How nice!

It is said that there are 3 levels in Japan;
- Economy is the first class because of their work ethic
- Nations are the second class because of their luck of creativity
- Politics are the third class because of their indecision to protect the second class nations.
Mr. Kan is staying at the seat of Prime Minister. He announced that he may resign at a date when he would complete the effective measures needed for rehabilitation of the area devastated by the quake and Tsunami.
It was funny, everybody seemed to have believed that he would resign within a few weeks from the date of the comment. Bu he sticks to the seat.
We, Japanese lives in the shame culture.
We feel awfully shameful on what Mr. Kan is doing. He does not feel shame, well, we feel shame for him. That is some kind of queer picture. Since his comment of possible resignation, nobody, but nobody won’t dare listen to or seeing value in following his order. Right? Do you? At the same time nobody dare to come to him for consultation. That is understandable. Everybody love themselves. That includes you and me as well.
Do you wish to take order from a person who has said that he would be out of the position soon?
No way, Then Mr. Kan is disturbing the rehabilitation with all of his existence. This surely suggests
that the Japanese politics are the third class.She\’s the one who has contributed much more than what our prime minster has done so far.
Now Lady GaGa said that she loves Japan and wised to live here. Oh, one thing. I found her quite intelligent. She speaks clearly and logically. That is rare for a woman at her age. Oh am I prejudiced? Nope, truth of the matter is that I have prejudice on Rock’n’Roller, rather. Or could it be the jealous? Whichever.
I can say this at this point. Lady Gaga has done much more contribution to current Japanese poeple than our blockhead Kan. That is sad.
