Step 3: The next step is to open the Control Panel by going to the start menu. On the Control Panel, open the option of “Internet Options” and the click on the “General” tab. Select the option of “Delete Cookies” and then click on “delete Files”.
Select the option of deleting the offline files. Once the security tab that appears click on "Default Level" on the internet zone and select the “Privacy” tab. Select the tab of “Default”, check "Block pop-ups" and click "Settings." Click on the option of “remove all” and then select “Close”. On the tab of “programs” click on then the option of "Manage Add-ons." Disable any of the add-ons and on the “advanced” tab check "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" and Click "OK."
Step 4: The next option is to open the "Security Center" and set "Firewall," "Automatic Updates" and "Virus Protection" to "On." Ensure that virus protection is updated and then restart the system. Reconnect the internet explorer to check whether the problem is resolved.
Step 5: Repair the Internet Explorer once again. This can be done through the installation disk or from the copy of the Windows installation files on the hard drive. In case the problem is not rectified, take the computer support packages by various online computers repair companies available.
Step 6: In case of the malware infection get the complete scan of the system with the antivirus software and also run the antimalware scan in the system. Remove all threats detected and the restart the system. If the problem persists, taking the online computer support is best option.
