Scott Tucker Racing Level 5 Team Gets Pole For Petit Le Mans

Luis Diaz took the No. 055 Microsoft Workplace 2010-sponsored HPD ARX-01g to the pole in an awe-inspiring way with a qualifying work to the Level 5 Motorsports group and owner, Scott Tucker Racing from Leawood, KS.

Teammate Christophe Bouchut held the top spot with the No. 33 Microsoft Office 2010 HPD ARX-01g to the 15 minute prototype session. Bouchut was knocked out by No. 26 Signatech ORECA-Nissan within the closing minutes.

Bouchut couldn’t get it together in the last minutes in the race, but team member Diaz took this Honda-powered prototype for the checked flag. It took the pole for your 2009 American Le Mans Collection LMP2 champion

“It was a matter of owning a clean lap,” Diaz mentioned. “The LMP1 cars didn’t make our lives very easy. We were surprised considering that we know the speed with the Nissan, and to beat them right here is very special. But the Level 5 guys did a great work with the car. They’ve labored around the clock in each Europe and here to put together the cars. I assume this pole is great motivation for your race.”

Diaz’s outstanding 1:12.335 lap time was impressive and beat out Nissan. That takes him and his co motorists Tucker and Marino Franchitti to key place to consider the win at Saturday’s 10 hour endurance race.
