The role of your articles
Hi, folks, this is Yuichi and I am running this article directory.
Its Alexa is 95000+ at the time of this writing. I am wishing to raise it to somewhere around 60000 to realize the earning of adsense. However, one thing bothers me. That is the quality of recent submissions. I am not against to the spinners. I am not against the articles for affiliating products. But I cannot bear the collection of the sentences that have nothing but brand names of products.
I normally check through articles if they are categorized correctly. I have defined that the articles should be categorized so that each article is under their market is. For instances, I wish contributors categorized their article on the doors under the "home and garden". No, I do not have the classification of "doors" nor "furniture". Should I have subcategories?
Well, I had been running article directory with full line of categories with lots of subcategories. It had been too much. There were too many people who were not able to or did not categorize their articles correctly. They just submit and forget. Let me recite you who reluctantly throw in the articles. You are wasting your time.
The article marketing is to announce that you have certain ability; it may be limited though, to give information on a certain market. By doing so, you are trying to establish yourself as the pro of the trade. You are doing business. You are not playing around with so much cost to spend meaninglessly, I hope.
You are wishing that people who happens to see your articles post their blog your articles along with the resource box. Then it is utterly wrong that you do not supply resource box. And to my amazement, there are so many who do not supply it. Or let me say that there are many who do not know how to write resource box.
So, I take that the contributors who do not supply resource box are wasting their time as well or do not wish to be known. If they wish to waste their time, it is their problem. I have been with free article directory software for four years. They are well written but a bit short of extra flavor. After checking through many of the article directories that are Alexa ranked high, I have found a few things in common.
They are willing to take the load. Am I taking the load? Well, I am not sure. If I were to receive 1500 submissions daily, I believe that there should be that many of submissions to be ranked higher than 60,000, I am pretty sure that I would deny those that were not with proper resource box nor with meaningless sentences.
