No matter whether you work outside or whether you simply like to get out on your bike at night, staying visible is going to be extremely important. It is often easy to forget how hard it is to actually see people late at night and even those with the best eyesight in the world may not see you until it is too late if you don’t have the right help to keep you visible.

One of the easiest ways to stay visible is to use high visibility clothing. Whilst lights on bikes or clothes will always help, these are often very small and you may well find that they are actually harder to see than high visibility clothing. On top of this, you will have to regularly change batteries and may still find that those batteries die on you whilst you are out and about, leaving you unable to carry out the task you need to, or worse, leaving you in danger.

For those who are worried about style, even when they are exercising, there are still plenty of hi viz items that will allow you to look great and still stay safe. Whether you simply look for designer makes or even simply choose to use vests, headbands and the like to simply give you accessories that are hi viz, there are plenty of items that can allow you to look as stylish as you like and still stay safe.

For those who work at night, there are all manner of other clothes, aside from just jackets that will keep you visible. Consider utilising the right trousers, vests and even shorts too if you want to ensure that you are as safe as possible, no matter what the environment. Some businesses may well offer you hi visibility clothes, but don’t always rely on it – make sure you have your own safety covered.
